I’m home on the Central Oregon Coast.
The summer is here at last. The sky is overcast.
Here’s a little information about what I’m up to. More to come.
I just rebuilt my personal website (the one you’re reading now).
After more than six months on something of a social media and blogging sabbatical, it feels like time to reengage. The previous design of this site fit my goals when I constructed it two years ago. Now I’m in a different space. I intend to publish on the blog here more frequently going forward.
I spent the fall and spring semesters studying in Georgia Tech’s Online Masters in Computer Science (OMSCS) program. While I performed well academically, I left the program recently, for reasons I might write about soon.
Despite departing the formal study, I’m intensely studying data science, especially R. I’m spending most of my time in that pursuit and helping my wife grow her business.
I’m not accepting new web design or development projects at this time.
I worked on a few interesting basketball projects this past season. I’d like to connect with anyone in basketball who has work I might be able to help with or who has interesting ideas to talk about.
